UNIQUE ARCHITECTURAL OBJECT
This house is a unique architectural object that emerges from the ground with concrete, bionic lines and graceful geometry. The play of materials, form and landscape merges the interior space with nature, the surrounding world flows into the interior — this was the original idea. Initially, the building was designed using the following solutions: functional layout, placement of stained glass windows, and roof windows oriented towards the movement of the sun. The window solution allowed natural light to enter during the day, despite the fact that the house is buried underground.
LIVING SPACE WITH AN INTEGRATED "HOME GALLERY"
The main concept is the house as a work of art. A living space with an integrated "home gallery". The building frame serves as a background for rare exhibits in the form of sculptures, decorative elements with a Japanese theme, symbolic forms of a circle, hanging chandeliers.
Each interior piece is a work of art — a large panoramic stained glass window helps to focus attention from the site territory to the story unfolding in the house. At the same time, the exhibits are just a backdrop to highlight residential and non-residential areas and show the direction movement. The living room is divided into three zones, kitchen/dining area, soft group with fireplace, coffee zone. The kitchen is separated from the main living area by a full-height pano with a round hole (a reference to a classical symbol in Japanese culture), which creates a visual dialog with the living room. The soft group is round shaped and is the compositional core of the interior, symbolizing balance, yin/yang, two balanced halves. Particular attention was paid to lighting, it was given an additional aesthetic and accent load: paintings and art objects illumination, as well as architectural features of the interior.
